We are a progressive health and human service organization that is a Partner Project of the Fund for the City of New York (http://www.fcny.org). Our mission is to improve the health of people living in communities that experience overwhelming diet related health disparities. We do this by alleviating hunger and improving nutrition. Our activities focus on empowering clients to maintain health and longevity through the use of plant-based meals and with guidance via consistent, professional evaluation.
All programs are centered in the belief that natural food is an inherently rich and underused resource in treating current illnesses and preventing co-morbidities. Our model of care is evidence based and ensures nutritional dietary needs are being met.
